The California Retailers Association (CRA) is proud to announce the promotions of two exceptional members of our team whose work has made a meaningful difference for retailers across California. Sarah Pollo Moo and Ryan Allain have been promoted to Vice President roles in recognition of their leadership, expertise, and unwavering commitment to CRA members.
Sarah Pollo Moo – Vice President; Operations & Sustainability Compliance
Sarah Pollo Moo has been promoted to Vice President of Operations and Sustainability Compliance, where she will oversee CRA’s internal management systems while continuing to lead the Association’s work helping members navigate California’s complex sustainability and regulatory landscape.
For many CRA members, Sarah has become the go-to expert on environmental policy and compliance issues. From extended producer responsibility laws to emerging climate disclosure requirements, she has helped retailers understand what new regulations mean in practice and how to prepare for them.
Sarah’s ability to translate complicated policy into practical guidance has been invaluable to CRA members working to meet California’s evolving sustainability requirements. Her work has also helped expand CRA’s technical resources and strengthen the Association’s ability to support retailers on some of the most complex compliance issues facing the industry today.
Ryan Allain – Vice President; Government Relations
Ryan Allain has been promoted to Vice President of Government Relations, where he will continue leading CRA’s advocacy efforts at the State Capitol and representing the interests of retailers throughout California.
Ryan has been a trusted advocate for the retail industry, helping ensure that policymakers understand how legislation and regulation impact retailers and consumers alike. Known for his strong relationships at the Capitol, collaborative approach, and the respected reputation he has built on behalf of CRA and its members, Ryan works closely with legislators, staff, and industry stakeholders to ensure the retail community has a thoughtful and credible voice in California’s policy discussions.
He also plays a key role in keeping members informed and engaged throughout the legislative process, helping them navigate California’s fast-moving policy environment and ensuring their perspectives are heard.
