The California Retailers Association (CRA) announces Danielle Hohos, Williams-Sonoma, Inc. as the 2024 Chair of the Board. HoHos will lead a diverse board of directors on important issues facing the retail industry including retail theft, PAGA, environmental sustainability and many other issues impacting retailers large and small.
CRA also welcomes new team member Erica V. Quarles who brings a decade of administrative support in public service and government administration to her new role as Administrative Assistant with the Association.
The board and staff announcement comes ahead of Cal Retailers’ Legislative Advocacy Days, which will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, and Wednesday, February 7, 2024. During the two-day event, member companies will meet with state policymakers on issues impacting California’s retail industry. Cal Retailers’ Board of Directors will also host a reception on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, to honor legislators who have made a positive impact on California’s retail industry. The event is expected to bring together policymakers, Capitol insiders and those working in and around the Capitol community for an evening of networking and award announcements.
The California Retailers Association is the only statewide trade association representing all segments of the retail industry, large and small, including general merchandise, department stores, mass merchandisers, online markets, convenience stores, supermarkets and grocery stores, retail pharmacies and specialty retail such as auto, vision, jewelry, hardware, and home stores.
